It's been birthday season over in my neck of the woods. First up was Amaisugiru on March 12th. We celebrated by zipping over to
CoCo's after work:
My birthday was exactly one week later, and unsurprisingly, my friends seem to have picked up on my not-so-secret cupcake obsession. They took me out to Taco Bell and CoCo's for lunch, and later surprised me with dinner at the Melting Pot, my favorite restaurant. (The only thing that could make their chocolate fondue even better was if they had mini-cupcakes to dunk into the melted chocolate):
From Amaisugiru I received this awesome card (looks just like my Honey!) and a copy of
Little Cakes from the Whimsical Bakehouse:
Baron sent me an awesome package from
Johnny Cupcakes that included a super cute belt and t-shirt. Check out the awesome wrapping paper:
Honey's birthday was also the 19th (we have the same birthday) so I made him some pupcakes. The cake contains applesauce, chunk chicken, and chicken baby food -- baking them stunk up my house for the whole day! The frosting was plain cream cheese and they were garnished with bacon treats:
Well, that's the birthday roundup. I'm still trying to catch up on all my Cupcake Crawl reviews -- I only have eight left, so you should be seeing some writeups within the next couple weeks. Sorry this is taking me so long!
